The ONLY morning sports talk show if you love Michigan sports teams
Sean Baligian, a long-time Michigan sports broadcasting pro, hosts Xs and Bro's every weekday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on great radio stations across the state of Michigan, courtesy of Michigan Media Network.
The show focuses on Michigan sports, including not only the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons, Spartans and Wolverines, but much more from the Big Ten to small college and prep sports and the cool stories Michigan sports fans want to talk about.
In early 2018, the show moved into its new broadcast home inside the OnStar Studios in the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit. It is a state of the art digital audio recording and editing facility and the perfect location for coach and athlete access – just a few long Matt Stafford bombs or Miggy homers away from where Michigan’s pros play.
Sean Baligian has worked in Detroit sports radio for years at WDFN (1999-2013) and WJR (1998-99, 2016-Present). He currently hosts the "State Champs" high School show on Fox Sports Detroit that debuted in 2012.
Sean previously worked at Fox 2 in Detroit for 15 years doing the Sunday Night show, anchoring Stanley Cup playoff coverage, and being a part of "Lions Game Day" on Sunday morning. Previous stops for Sean include being the radio voice for Wayne State Football for 11 years, TV voice for Wayne State Basketball for 6 years, Plymouth Whalers TV broadcaster from 2003-2015, Saginaw Spirit color commentary during the 2005-2006 season, Michigan State Hockey broadcasts on Comcast, and as a fill-in broadcaster for the Carolina Hurricanes on Fox Sports Carolina.
